Tracy Broome
Art Instructor
Ms Broome grew up along the beautiful coast in the Biloxi/Gulfport region. Pursuing her passion for visual art, she attended Millsaps College and, after graduation, continued her studies in Graphic Design at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to working as a graphic designer and studio artist.
Teaching art classes has always been a passion of hers, and in 2019, she earned her certification to teach art in a classroom setting. Currently, she is in her third year of teaching art at Hope Academy, a role she finds incredibly rewarding at this point in her life. She couldn't imagine a better place to teach than Hope; her students inspire her, and she loves witnessing their enthusiasm for art.
She has three children aged between 18 and 23, all of whom are creatively inclined. Two of them are currently in college, while her eldest works as a social media expert in Baton Rouge.
In her spare time, she enjoys creating commissioned artwork, illustrating children's books, boating, and traveling with her family and friends.
