Amy Campbell
Transition to Kindergarten
Mrs. Amy has worked with young learners for 31 years. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi and achieved National Board Certification in 2004. After retiring from the Gulfport School District in 2020, she discovered that her heart still belonged in the classroom. Her genuine passion lies in nurturing a love for reading in children, and she truly enjoys watching her little ones grow and learn through play and happiness. She feels incredibly thankful to be a part of Hope Academy, where the family-like atmosphere brings her immense joy. Witnessing her students blossom into young scholars fills her heart with delight. She firmly believes that learning is a journey to be cherished, rather than just a destination.
She and her husband are proud parents to seven amazing children: Madison, 25; Mason and Owen, 24; Charci and Mallory, 20; Bryce, 19; and Preston, 17. Only one of their children remains at home, currently attending Gulfport High School, as they approach the empty nest stage. They also cherish the companionship of their two dogs, Penny and Daphne, and share a passion for travel.
